Is this possibly hemorrhoids?

Right below my anus, I have a big red bump. I thought it was a zit so I tried to squeeze it and when I felt around, I realized its deep. I mean to say that I felt behind it and its not topical. It feels like its deep in my skin. It itches every now and then but thats about it. I bm frequently, so I know its not from constipation. I havent had any bloody stools. So what could this be?
