Rectal pain can the cause be Hemorrhoid?

Since I delivered my baby 5 months ago, I suffered from external hemorrohid but it is gone , still after I have a bowel movement I feel OK for about 15 seconds and then I feel rectal pain for about 5 minutes and then I am OK for the rest of the day , can it be internal Hemorrohid?

This is a go to the doctor situation. It's most likely a fissure or a fistula or an internal hemorrhoid. There are some creams, foams and suppositories your doc can give you that will help.

Yes, it can be hemorrhoids. It can also be rectal spasms which from what I've been told can be very painful. A relative of mine (I won't say who for her privacy) has them and her doctor gave her low dose Valium to help, since it's a muscle relaxer. Either way maybe you should visit your doctor to get some relief. Life is too short for pain right? Also, are your stools hard? Maybe stool softeners can help?

I had this too after I gave birth to my son. It was part of the hemorrhoid thing. The pain even sometimes went up --- like a bolt of lighning, for lack of a better word. Sometimes, I couldn't even sit down at all as it hurt then. It didnt' last for very long but came and went.

I advice to see the doctor though for peace of mind more than anything.
