Hemorrhoid Treatment Option: Kshar Patan

There are numerous treatments for hemorrhoids from at home techniques to surgical techniques. A removal technique for internal hemorrhoids is Kshar Patan. This is a natural non-surgical procedure.

A non-surgical technique for removal of hemorrhoids is Kshar Patan.  In this procedure, a chemical medication derived from various herbs is applied to the hemorrhoid with a proctoscope.  The procedure is highly effective and cost effective; although, it may require more than one treatment.

Kshar Patan is derived from Ayurveda, which is a holistic science that treats illnesses at the source, rather than at the level of the symptoms.

The procedure is a type of chemical cauterization.  A chemical reaction or cauterization is used to destroy tissue, most commonly for the removal of small skin lesions.

The use of herbs is a natural and healthy way to cure many ailments.  There are other herbs that can also be used to give you hemorrhoid relief and help to get rid of your hemorrhoids. The use of herbs is a convenient and cost effective way to treat your hemorrhoid symptoms.

If you using these herbs, do so just long enough to give you hemorrhoid relief and once you see that your symptoms have disappeared, stop using them.  The use of the herbs longer than necessary will make you less sensitive to the power of these herbs, if you ever have to or want to use them again.

The first possible herb is comfrey powder, which comes from an herbal root that has plenty of allantoin. This herb is a powerful acting herb that is an anti-inflammatory and stimulates the formation of new skin.  It can also cause external hemorrhoids to shrink and pull back. This makes comfrey powder an effective hemorrhoid remedy.

Comfrey powder is used as a paste.  To make the paste, mix it with olive, fish, or flaxseed oil. Apply the paste directly onto your anus and surrounding area. You can apply it at night and your morning shower will remove it.

Another suggestion is Gotu Kola, which is an Indian herb that is a hemorrhoid remedy.  This method is an extract, in which 30 mg of Gotu Kola can be taken three times a day. The Gotu kola extract reduces pain, swelling, fatigue, the sensation and the heaviness from hemorrhoids.

Third, horse chestnut comes from the bark of a tree and has been found to be useful in treating hemorrhoids.  It contains the chemicals aesculin and aescin, which strengthen your blood vessels and which help to reduce hemorrhoids. It also helps to reduce inflamed areas.  This may be used in two ways:  you can make a tea and apply it directly to your hemorrhoids.  Do not drink the tea since it contains a substance, which tightens mucus and tissue and would cause constipation.  Additionally, you can use it in a powder form and mix it with oil to produce a paste and apply it to your anus area.

Finally, plantain may be used, which is similar to comfrey root powder, as it contains allantoin.  Again, this may be mixed with oil to make a paste.

The use of natural substances in curing hemorrhoids and other conditions is very common and used by many physicians on a regular basis.
