Vitamin E can be used to treat many ailments of the skin throughout the body, but did you know it can be used to help treat your hemorrhoids as well?
Hemorrhoids are nasty uncomfortable little buggers which affect between 70 % and 80 % of people throughout the world. Hemorrhoids may be a result of genetics, pregnancy or childbirth, poor dietary habits, poor physical activity habits, sitting or standing for your job or age.
Since we don’t know what causes hemorrhoids, we can only guess how to treat and prevent them and so far, there seems to be no sure cure for hemorrhoids
Hemorrhoids are protruding varicose veins in the anal or rectal area. Experts speculate that they are caused because of weakened muscles and veins, which tend to happen as a result of poor living habits and also naturally with age.
It is possible for the hemorrhoid to be surgically removed, but this is usually only used as a treatment option for severe hemorrhoids and this option doesn’t usually last. By the time a patient has reached stage three or four of a hemorrhoid, it is very likely that they will have an ongoing problem with hemorrhoids for the rest of their life. Hemorrhoids which are surgically removed typically only last for about 12 months.
That being said, it’s better to treat your hemorrhoids naturally by taking care of your body. The way you take care of your body are things you should be implementing in your day-to-day life anyway. There are so many health benefits to exercising regularly and eating healthy and it’s important to stretch often throughout the day and make sure everything is loose and not tense.
Next time you find yourself having an issue with hemorrhoids, try breaking open a vitamin E capsule and apply the oil to the freshly washed anal area. This will help to heal and soothe inflamed hemorrhoids. This treatment is best done when performed before bed. It will be more effective if you are able to lie down and relax without rubbing the oil off too soon.
