Prevention of unpleasant hemorrhoids can be possible through changes in our diet. Adding bioflavonoids to your diet can play a part in this prevention. Bioflavonoids can be found in citrus fruits such as lemons, grapefruits, oranges, and, to a lesser extent, limes, rose hips, apricots, cherries, grapes, black currants, plums, blackberries, and papayas. They can also be found in green pepper, broccoli, and tomatoes. Replace some of the processed food in your diet with bioflavonoids to aid in the prevention of hemorrhoids.
